Problem statement-

Living amidst society, we all are aware of the social and economic issues around us. A few of us ignore, a few want to do something about it and the few whom the society refers to as the “misfits”, choose to act and make a difference. At TUF we call them “The Change-makers”.

Solution by TUF –

Since the time of our inception, we have witnessed an overwhelming number of youngsters walk through our doors, mostly sophomores, degree students and a few belonging to “Gen X” & “Baby bloomers”.

Irrespective of their age, demography & profession, they all have one thing in common, an intention! An intention to make a dent in the universe, an intention to change the status quo. We at TUF, celebrate these individuals, we believe in counselling, mentoring and making leaders out of these “Change-makers”. We create an identity, the identity of “IamTUF!”…

Volunteering activity, is a two way street! A volunteer’s intention is to work towards the benefit of the society, little does he/she know, the work he/she does benefits him/her in more ways than one. We have seen volunteers transform, we have seen them grow to become individuals and leaders they have always aspired to be. Volunteering is a platform for self-development!

At TUF, we follow a defined growth plan for our “Change-makers”. The journey starts of as a “Volunteer”, upon clocking sufficient man-hours on field, he/she is promoted to being a “Senior Volunteer”. With a proven track record and contribution on field, the next step of the hierarchy is the “Assistant Mentor”. Being a “Mentor” is a huge deal in TUF ecosystem and time spent here contributes to the overall growth of an individual. Upon successfully completing of the mentor-ship program, the individual now is all set to enter the administration of The United Foundation. Yearly elections enables individual from administration to contest for Asst. VP roles. Upon seniority and having a successful tenure as a Asst. VP, this individual can be selected as a VP upon the board’s approval.

Let us let you in a little secret! Along with the self-development and character growth, our volunteers have great career growth as well. Countless volunteers who have benefited from a “Letter of Recommendation” from our Founding Trustee Mr. Syed Habeeb are living testimony to this fact.

Are these LORs legit and recognized you ask? Well they did bag one of our volunteers an admission at Oxford!…now you tell me, is this legit and recognized enough? Hell! Yeah!

We have a team of over X number of volunteers coming from all walks of life, working towards a united cause – being the change. 100s have decided to be change makers and have reaped benefit of these opportunities.
