A survey suggests that the onset of the Covid-19 Lockdown drastically hit the livelihood of over 85% of daily wage workers in Bangalore.
Left with no means of income to meet their daily requirements, the reality of their circumstances was a heartbreaking and demanded urgent attention.
TUF set up its Mercy Kitchen in one of the most prominent slums of Bangalore – DJ Halli, that unceasingly dished out warm, nutritious, hyginic meals every day to provide immediate support to those hit the hardest by the pandemic.
